We Rescue Food

What We Do

What is Suncoast Care?

A not-for-profit organization reaching the Sunshine Coast with food and aid.

Our aim is to alleviate hunger by rescuing perishable, fresh and nutritious food and deliver it to disadvantaged, vulnerable people.

Fresh ‘Imperfect’ Food, often called “Food Rescue” to thousands of people weekly on the Sunshine Coast.

How We Care

Every week, hear are some of the practical ways we help our local community.

Suncoast Care Shop

Our goal is to provide the necessities people need to survive, at a cheaper price so that everyone has a fair go.

Food Rescue

Partnering from local farmers, ensures that we can rescue food that would otherwise go to waste.

Emergency Relief

Government funding and donations assist us in helping those in crisis, with food vouchers and other emergency needs.

School Pantry

Providing meals daily to ten local school, for the benefit of hungry students who could otherwise go without.

Soup Kitchen

The Daily Bread Soup Kitchen is a free meal service for those in need. We believe in giving people a hand up not just a hand out!

School Chaplaincy

We help fund School Chaplaincy at both Woombye & Palmwoods Primary Schools.

Making Real Change

Care exists to help those who are facing difficult times through; emergency relief, discounts grocery items, and community aid and support. You can make a real change, by donating financially or even of your time. Suncoast Care is a Charity Humanitarian Aid Organisation and some donations are tax-delectable. It may or may not be a huge amount to you, but to countless others less fortunate, it can dramatically change their current and future existence.
