Child Dedications

‘“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.”

At Suncoast we believe that child dedication is a public commitment parents make before God, their church and their family. It is the opportunity to express publicly your desire as parents to lead and spiritually nurture your children in cooperation with the Holy Spirit. Dedication is a commitment that parents make to bringing up their child in an environment that will encourage the child to form a relationship with Christ. A dedication occurs in front of a church family because the church is supporting the parents in raising their child to have a relationship with Jesus.

This is why a dedication is for church members only or those intending on making Suncoast their home.
